Yvonne King - Painter - Connemara Art Link

‘There is fantastic light in the west of Ireland and this is the challenge and the beauty of painting in Connemara. I grew up here and feel privileged to live and work in the place I love’.

Yvonne King’s Landscape Paintings are inspired by the sea and scenery of the West of Ireland. She also paints Flower and Still Life Paintings. Yvonne is a member of Visual Artists Ireland and The Society for all Artists. She has participated in many group & solo exhibitions over the years and her paintings are in collections in many countries. Yvonne King studied Oil Painting and Drawing in the Studio of Douglas Anderson, the renowned Scottish Wildlife Artist and Royal Painter. She has a Diploma with merit in Painting & Drawing from London Art College. Yvonne studied Chinese Painting at The Academy of Fine Arts in Hong Kong.

Yvonne King’s Jewellery designs incorporate quality materials such as freshwater pearls, gemstones, Connemara marble and sterling silver. Yvonne completed a course in Jewellery Craft & Design in 1996. She is a registered member of the Crafts Council of Ireland and is registered with the Assay Office of Ireland in Dublin Castle.
